DIVISION OF UNPLANNED CARE
Kingston Hospital is a district general hospital rated as outstanding by CQC in 2018. The hospital supports some 320,000 people in the surrounding area including Kingston, Richmond, Roehampton, Putney and East Elmbridge. Our hospital has a much higher proportion of very elderly patients within emergency admissions compared with the London (and England) average and expansion of the elderly care department reflects the large number of elderly people being cared for in our hospital as a whole.
We are looking for two Elderly Care Consultants to join our team. We welcome dynamic, enthusiastic candidates who are passionate about providing great medical care to our elderly population and keen to be involved in innovative service development and quality improvement within an outstanding organisation.
This is an amazing opportunity to join our department. The successful candidates will be supporting inpatient services but, as we undergo an exciting period of service development, we will be encouraging and willing to support within job planning any subspecialist interests that the successful candidate may have and we are happy to explore any innovative ways of working that might have a positive impact on our staff wellbeing and satisfaction.
Applicants should note, the job description is pending Royal College approval.
